20 chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreo is the brand recommended name)
2 tablespoon melted butter
1 and 1/2 quarts vanilla ice cream
1 teaspoon peppermint flavoring
10 drops green food coloring
Use food processor to crush the chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreo). Add the melted butter. Press cookie mixture into the 9 inch square cake pan. Soften ice cream into the microwave on defrost for 4 minutes. When the ice cream is already soft, fold it with flavoring and food coloring. Mix thoroughly until well blended. Pour ice cream mixture into the crust and freeze.
Hot fudge sauce
1/2 cup butter
4 squares unsweetened chocolates
3 cups granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can evaporated milk
Using the double broiler, melt the butter on top of it, drop the chocolate and stir until it melted. Add sugar gradually one at a time. When all sugar has added, stir constantly until the sugar dissolves. Add salt to taste. Stir with evaporated milk. When all milk is added, cook over hot water until sugar is completely dissolve. Stir occasionally.
