Nutella Ice Cream Torte

- 2 pints of pistachio ice cream (softened)
Until spreadable but not melted
- 2 pints of strawberry ice cream (softened)
Until spreadable but not melted
- 2 pints of vanilla ice cream (softened)
Until spreadable but not melted
- 1 cup of 13 oz. of jar Nutella chocolate
- An hazelnut spread
Procedures:
- First, spoon 3 tbsp. of Nutella into a small resealable sandwich bag, press out the air and then seal. And then, set it aside to use for the topping.
- Next, is spread the pistachio ice cream evenly over the bottom of spring form pan with at least 2-inch high sides.
- And then, spread the ice cream carefully to the edges.
- Using the half of the remaining Nutella, drop a teaspoonful evenly over the ice cream. But do not to spread the Nutella to the edge.
- And, when the spring form sides are finally removed, the edges of the ice cream will show as pastel layers without Nutella.
- And the, spread the strawberry ice cream evenly in the pan and drop a teaspoonfuls of the remaining Nutella over the strawberry ice cream, but do not spread it to the edge.
- And then, spread the vanilla ice cream evenly in the pan.
- Use a thin metal spatula to smoothen the top of the torte and cut a small hole in one corner of the filled sandwich bag.
- Press the Nutella through the hole in the bag to form crisscrossing lines over the top of the torte while making sure the lines should reach to the edge of the torte.
- And when it’s time to Freeze
- Freeze the torte for about 15 minutes to firm the Nutella topping.
- And then, wrap the torte tightly with plastic wrap and cover with heavy aluminum foil while gently pressing the aluminum foil against the torte.
- And to make the Nutella Ice Cream Torte, freeze it least 4 hours or up to 2 weeks for the best result.
