It’s a strip that wraps around your bake pan and soaks it into cold water and wring out the excess before you put it into the oven. Just pin it in the side and put it into the oven just as is. Usually if you’re using this you have to bake your cake for about 5-8 minutes longer than normal but that’s not a problem because what it does is to save you from cutting out the top of the cake and throwing that waste cake away.
Standard and Long Serrated knife
Use to cut off any excess on your cakes. Level your cake to its lowest point, it has a nice long blade and a serrated edge and it just cuts to a cake really nicely. Make sure to mark where you cut the cake to level.
